Did the same and went with in-store pickup. Rep took like 2 minutes to give me a code.
Why do you care what other people buy or do ?
I told them I was a long time Fitbit user and was considering changing to Samsung but the price was too expensive for my budget. I asked if they had a 25% coupon. Idk exactly what the coupon was for %-wise but it got it down to $76.95 before tax.
