If you buy a Fluance with the servo motor isolated from the turntable then yes, I would say Fluance is better (RT-82 fits this bill and is worth the extra $50 in my opinion).

If you buy a low-end Fluance, I would suggest the only way it is better or worse than this Denon will depend on your speakers and your personal preferences which are of course subjective when it comes to audio.

As I mentioned before, this Denon has a replaceable cartridge, that's really where most of your sound quality is coming from if you go far enough down the rabbit hole...
Turntable Labs has this same turntable with an upgraded Ortofon 2M Red cartridge installed for $269. This is $30 less than what you'd pay buying this deal + the upgraded cartridge. Certainly not required for everyone, but its a good upgrade.

I own this turntable. It has a built-in pre-amp that you can choose to enable or disable.

I'm not a Sonos user but given that you can choose whether or not to use the pre-amp, I guarantee you you can connect, it's just a question of how. Turntable has R/L RCA output connections. You might need to buy an adapter to plug into your Sonos... Again, not a Sonos user.

For what it's worth, this is a great budget turntable and I got it at this price 5 years ago so given inflation I'd say it's a good deal.

The cartridge is replaceable as well, allowing for additional upgrades.

Will work with a Five.Set a 2000 ms delay and it stream all over your house. Have this setup but with a Sony player.
Curious, what's the need for a 2 second delay?

Otherwise the master speaker is a few noticeable milliseconds ahead of the rest and you can hear it.

I would need a pair of bookshelf speakers with this, correct? I'm using a soundbar for my TV, don't think I could hook that up.

Possible with adapters but honestly it would be better to get cheaper powered bookshelf speakers. Much less hassle and better sound.

Depends on your soundbar but you can likely use it. I would bet that it has RCA inputs so you'd just need the right adapter to go from the table to RCA. It's exactly what I do for my setup right now until I have the space to get some bookshelf speakers. You also would not need to worry about an amp since your soundbar is powered

anyone know if this will pair up with a Sonos system? Anything else required?
If you want it to play on multiple Sonos speakers you'll need to buy the Sonos Port or find a S2 Connect, which is discontinued. I have a S2 Connect and have used it so that my turntable will play over the Sonos speakers (Arc & Ones) in my living room.

A used Connect is the cheaper option, but you'll have to make sure you get a S2 since the S1 will not work with the S2 Sonos app. The Serial Numbers on the Connect will let you know which is an S1 vs S2. I can't remember right now but a google or Reddit search will turn up what you need to look for. That's also a good way to find an S2 for cheap from someone who didn't list it as an S2 or doesn't know what they have.

Audio-Technica AT-LP120XUSB Is $250 on Amazon right now. Nothing is going to work well on a soundbar without a preamp.

Anyone else see "fully automatic" and expect it to have the record stacker spindle that plays a bunch of records, one after the other? I guess they just don't make those anymore.

Great deal for $200. I had bought this for $300 and added the nagaoka mp110 and sound quality is stunning.

This is definitely better, but not by light years or anything. Same cartridge setup, but the Denon is easier to upgrade, it's got automatic features like stop and start, and the tonearm looks to be actual metal construction, as opposed to the lightweight plastic that the Insignia's is made out of.

Insignia, on the other hand, has no automatic features, but it does have Bluetooth, an on-board headphone jack, and an Optical speed sensor so the speed should always be dead on with no need for adjustment.

The insignia's great as starter table, but I'm sure this would be too.
