At full price the S24 SE doesn't make much sense, but this is a nice price cut that makes it a competitive offering IMO.
I can see that S24FE is significantly better but the list price is only $50 more for S24FE.
On the other hand if I upgrade from S23FE to S24 FE Samsung is asking for $212.49+taxes.
Not a bad price but I just paid $170 last year to upgrade from S20FE to S23FE.
It would be a no brainer if I didn't get S23FE.
If so I could just buy S24 FE for $382 and sell S20FE on eBay....
S24FE is definitely better but S23FE as is also meets all of my current needs...
I thought about it while 7 years of maintenance sounds really good, I highly doubt I would keep the same phone for 7 years. Every upgrade is likely to make it slower and I cannot imagine how much the battery would be degraded after 5 years.

Cricket mandates $60 for first two months +99.
So minimum you have to pay $120+99+30x4= 339 to get it unlocked after 6 months,
It's a bit of hassle but ya I think it would save about 200 compare to buying direct from Samsung. (using my current 25/month plan as baseline)

Still it would be way more powerful than S20FE.
And this is what they said
"Thanks for waiting. I've checked this for you and I can see that there's no price drop for the item itself. The discount you're seeing on the website is promotional discount which we're unable to do a price match. My apologies for this. However, if ever that you choose to keep this item, we can of offer 45$"
