Yup - what I usually do is place an order before I head to McD's, pick it up in the drive thru and then pull back thru the drive thru and place another order The 15 minute timer is from the time the order is placed, not when you pick it up.

I may not be answering your question, but each morning/afternoon you'll be able to order one item for $1, so if you visit before 10:30am on December 11th, you can order only a bagel sandwich for $1 (and if so I recommend getting the steak)
