Thanks for this. I am in need to upgrade my drives on my Synology Nas. Currently have WD Reds, but it seems like these days Seagate Ironwolfs have taken over. Now I'm torn as I have had years of use with the Western digitals without issues

Yeah, these are decent drives for NAS. I have a few and was looking to add more where I found this.

How bad are the noise on these? My old WD Red plus are not bad at all, but I have been reading that the Ironwolfs can be pretty loud and harsh. Torn on whether I should pull the trigger on these

I have a few in a Qnap NAS and they are not loud at all. Only times I hear them is when there is the regular cycle of backups happening and I loved those to times that I don't care for noise.
