I don't know about the HP, but the display on this Aura Edition is highly touted. I just fired up one from the BestBuy deal, and the first thing that hit me was the sound. Pretty amazing. Then, started comparing the screen to my Asus 3K 120Hz OLED display on another laptop as some reviews I watched compared to OLED. If you don't have an OLED to compare to, one might think it was OLED. Colors are bright and vibrant and blacks look really black. BUT, side-by-side my Asus, the OLED wins for the inky blacks as this Lenovo has a touch of backlighting on blacks. Barely noticeable, though. Overall a stunning display (16:10) and a great laptop with a premium build. Haven't spent more than an hour on it so far but look forward to setting it up.
Wow what a steal
I'd be interested in a 32gb version at the same discount. I'll wait.

Good deal for this specific laptop.
+10% CB from a popular CB site
+15% CB for some Chase CCs (Ink Business Cash, my example)

However, in this price range I would personally get the HP Omnibook Ultra 14 that comes with the Ryzen 365 processor and 32GB RAM. Overall lot lot more powerful. Low as $900 before, likely will resurface at that price Cyber Monday or by end of year

Looks like this is a "Beneplace exclusive offer" that's only available through the link. Otherwise the price is $999 at Lenovo. Can you still use a CB site?

I compared them at Best Buy and yes the Aura does have a better screen (less reflective, brighter/richer colors, higher resolution--though I personally prefer low resolution). The Aura sounds nicer too (more bassy and fuller-sounding than most laptops). Lenovo has done a good job on speakers across their range. Even the cheap Yoga 7i 14" I'm using right now has great speakers.

The Aura definitely will give a top-notch multimedia enjoyment experience. The IPS isn't OLED, but close. Personally I prefer IPS for longevity (no burn-in issues). The Omnibook offers more processing/graphics power and therefore more usability/future-proofing, but the Aura will give slightly more pleasure to your eyes and ears, and likely a little more battery life.

I just picked this up from Best Buy a few days ago. I haven't been too impressed by the performance. There have been a few instances where the computer has been unresponsive. It was particularly noticeable while downloading a game on Steam and other programs where not responding to my actions.
I am wondering if I should opt for a laptop with the 258V (32GB), but I'll keep playing around with it. I realized earlier today that YouTube reviews of the Aura are probably the 32GB version.

Can vouch for this. I grabbed one from Best Buy for $999 before the deal made its way to Slick. Best screen I've ever seen on a laptop, and I prefer it to the OLED laptop screens I've had. Sound is FREAKING AMAZING, it could pass for a MacBook Pro at many volumes. Also, the keyboard and touchpad are ridiculously good, I didn't know I could love a laptop, but here I am, saving up for a diamong

I was hitting some similar things but a full windows restore using the built-in system reset feature seems to have fixed everything and it's blazing now. One review I saw said this was the highest-performing single thread Windows laptop in the game right now if I recall. It's not even flinching while driving my Samsung Ark 2 @ 4k @ 165Hz, these integrated graphics are beefy

If this was strix point, I'd snap it up right now. What's with the slow roll on the Ryzen AI 9 stuff?

I really wanted to buy this one, but I was doing some research online and a lot of people were saying that although the screen is great and beautiful, it's sooo reflective. For me that was a deal breaker.

The Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 comes with Ryzen AI 9 365 but there's no discount currently. HP's Omnibook Ultra ($900 or lower if open-box at Best Buy) can be a good option too.

Would you guys buy the Aura or something like the Asus Zenbook S16 HX 365 which is on sale for 1150 ? The Zenbook is OLED, comes with 24GB RAM and probably is a bit of a stronger all around performer.

Every glossy screen is reflective by definition. If you want a matte screen, it won't look as sharp.
