I don't know about the HP, but the display on this Aura Edition is highly touted. I just fired up one from the BestBuy deal, and the first thing that hit me was the sound. Pretty amazing. Then, started comparing the screen to my Asus 3K 120Hz OLED display on another laptop as some reviews I watched compared to OLED. If you don't have an OLED to compare to, one might think it was OLED. Colors are bright and vibrant and blacks look really black. BUT, side-by-side my Asus, the OLED wins for the inky blacks as this Lenovo has a touch of backlighting on blacks. Barely noticeable, though. Overall a stunning display (16:10) and a great laptop with a premium build. Haven't spent more than an hour on it so far but look forward to setting it up.

I'd be interested in a 32gb version at the same discount. I'll wait.

However, in this price range I would personally get the HP Omnibook Ultra 14 that comes with the Ryzen 365 processor and 32GB RAM. Overall lot lot more powerful. Low as $900 before, likely will resurface at that price Cyber Monday or by end of year
...and it happened: Best Buy revived the Omnibook Ultra $899 deal

Was waiting for the 32 to go on sale but it's been stubbornly $1400. Bought this 16GB version at Best Buy for $999 last week and haven't cracked the seal; will return now. Rebought off Lenovo for BB pickup plus a red Belkin mouse (to get to to the email signup $50) off, plus 16% CB, plus Chase 15% statement credit ($100 max).

Good deal for this specific laptop.
+10% CB from a popular CB site
+15% CB for some Chase CCs (Ink Business Cash, my example)

Whenever I try to use a CB site for 15% the page just instantly closes...tried just going from lenovo.com to search it but the coupon won't apply to the listing. Any idea if there's a way around this?

On HPs side is an Omnibook Ultra Flip 14" with similar specs if you want something smaller.

Personally, I will be boycotting Lenovo for their shameful refusal to pull their business out of Russia.
I had no idea, but not surprising China studying with Russia. As for the Hp Omnibook, that's the one in giving my daughter for Xmas, but wondering if this is a better laptop.

This deal, maybe unlike your first purchase, is through the Beneplace Lenovo site, which is a workplace site and is typically excluded from CB sites. Maybe your CC rebates also...check your terms, but definitely you won't get CB site rebates from Beneplace.

The only reason this deal is cheaper than $999 is because Beneplace gives a Workplace discount on everything.

Looks like this is a "Beneplace exclusive offer" that's only available through the link. Otherwise the price is $999 at Lenovo. Can you still use a CB site?

Oh - good point. I whiffed on the update details because I forgot the $930 posted price, which was $970 (same OP site) for Best Buy pickup.

Main site has $999, plus a $1.61 filler to get over $1000. With my "email signup" there's a bonus $50 for $1000+ purchase. Those are direct from Lenovo's home page and via the 16% CB referral link* I wasn't willing to rebuy for just $30 with the OP (+BB pickup - I don't trust Lenovo, the mail, and their mail-back 15% restock fees), but $150 off (chase+email code) plus a shot at another $152 via CB for a net of $700 plus tax makes this worth a trip to BB for a pickup/return cycle.

*CB might be cancelled by the use of the $50 unique email code but shouldn't be, and I have the screenshots with the time/date in the shot showing the CB active so [fingers crossed].

Only difference with the best buy pickup version is the windows version, BB has home while this has Pro,

no it is 120Hz, its right in the title

I have this laptop. you can set it with Fn+R which will switch between 60hz, 120hz, or auto.

My only complaint is 2 weeks in my internal display cable went bad, took 2 service visits (the first they replaced a fully functioning screen, problem remained. On second visit they brought new cable and new mobo, only needed to replace display cable and it is back in business). Warranty service was good. I got the 1tb 32gb 258V from Lenovo directly and paid way too much for it ($1500). To me this looks like a steal. 16GB is regrettable, but it really has full day battery life and more than enough GPU and CPU for my day to day.

I was, that's why I quoted the post with the Omnibook info. Thank you all for the replies though!

Size is a high priority of mine though. Are there any other 15+in options?
