Good price for those who missed the $1500 eBay deal like I did.

Edit: sorry as Planet has pointed out that was for the C3.

Yeah $250 for the upgrade from C3 to C4 isn't bad.

I can't believe how much the 77" OLED have dropped in price. I am still rocking the 77" CX that I paid $2500 back then. Other than brightness and slightly better processor, things haven't change much from I can see thru the generations.

You can thank Samsung being disruptive in both price and performance with QD OLED TVs regularly hovering around and dipping below $2000 last year.

I bought a 77 B4 from Costco for $1599 with 5 year warranty, would you keep this or get this 77 C4 deal from eBay knowing the Costco return/warranty plan and upgraded wifi card in the B4?

Wow this is crazy good I paid $1500 for my 65in G2 about 2 years ago it good to see the prices on OLED coming down. Mini led is getting close and putting pressure on OLED makers to lower pricing.

I need the TV in my family room which is a well lit room with skylights. Is it a good idea to buy this OLED or better to go with QLED

You could look into something like the Samsung S90D--QD OLED with better brightness. However, there are other tradeoffs (i.e. no Dolby Vision support). Check out the article here for some other good options: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews...the-market

I'd stick with the Costco unit personally unless you are watching lots of UHD blu rays where the extra brightness might be noticeable. Otherwise they should be extremely close. The B4 is a good TV and the 77" screens tend to be a little brighter for that size for some reason anyway so I think you are good.

Does the sun shine directly on the screen? If so I'd go with a high end LCD like the Bravia 9/7 or QN90D. Direct sunlight is bad for OLEDs. Some threads on the topic at AVSforum for those interested.

Is the seller trustWorthy? I did order but I am tensed now, return policy is just 30 days, I know it comes with manufacturer warranty as its brand new. But does any one have experience buying from ebay and this particular seller?

I bought two Sony OLED's from Electronics Express in 2022 or 2023. No problem with the seller at all. They are an authorized dealer for Sony and LG OLEDs.
