3 piece cobras are the same price on Amazon and HD. With 2day shipping or same day pick up. Woot said it would get to my house on 16th. Might as well just pick them up at HD one one of my many trips for no reason
Highly recommend Knipex pliers. The build quality is ridiculous and the grip is unmatched. First replaced an old pair of electricians pliers (Klein) and was so impressed I've slowly replaced other tools by Knipex. Even a pair of an Irwin Vice grips I thought were the most user friendly. I've not been disappointed with any of the Knipex products.
You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. There is no comparison at all with a Knipex set of pliers to anything Kobalt. Even at full price these are worth every penny.

I didn't make any claims what do you mean? The same style is all I said, didn't say they were equivalent or better, or anything else. But if someone wants that style and missed this deal as many said, and like to try a budget alternative, I added value to their lives to which you did not add any value with your comment

It's sad you can't get good pliers anymore. I would kill for a good pair of 5" pliers. Everything is poorly machined now even from good brands.
Right. How about you look up how much tools used to cost when they were supposedly "good". Then adjust that amount for inflation. I bet if you were willing to spend this much money today you'd still be able to get some quality tools.
I've been using channel lock pliers for 20 years and they're fine, but I've worked with plenty of guys in the same field that swear by knipex. I don't get it, I don't know why they say they're so much better, but I do believe them. If only these channel locks that are older than my kids would ever die, I'd upgrade to the knipex, although I do wish they were made in USA.

Menards carries a 5" Knipex set of pliers like the cobras in stock. Channellock makes a 4.5" set of water pump pliers that is also stock at Menards. I want to say the Knipex are around $35 and the channellock are $15-$17. I have the channellock and they saved my tail on a dishwasher connection.

Just buy them. One of the rare items that is insanely better than any other pliers/copy

You can probably still get the other 3 piece sets though.
