I have a bespoke fridge and it's been pretty amazing 1100 shipped through edu. BUT I would recommend a Bosch dishwasher if you can afford it. I bought one last year and went from never using the dishwasher to using it everyday. I love that thing
I was looking at the recent reviews on Samsung.com. in general, Samsung isn't known for the quality of its dishwashers, so I just decided to keep my KitchenAid order. This is one of those places where saving money may lead to huge inconvenience and regret later, so I am okay spending hundreds more on a quality dishwasher. My sister had issues with her dishwasher, and it was pure hell. Eating off paper plates for months, dirty dishes piling up. Same thing with a fridge. Any issues with our fridge would be a total nightmare with all the food we have stored in it. Appliances are one area where I am happy not saving every penny I can as dealing with repairs and frequent technician visits or warranty claims can quickly cost you more in time and stress.
LOL...rep to you for that reply . Some people live without a dishwasher all their lives and his sister was having such a hard time for a few days without one, what a huge problem that was
Cmon man. She had to use paper plates. The horror.

I was just trying to say that a broken dishwasher is a huge hassle. Whether you hand wash dishes, eat on paper plates, etc. So the point wasn't that she could have just hand washed the dishes. It was that going for low quality appliances can lead to major headaches. Hand washing dishes isn't fun when you have kids and a spouse also living with you. Haha
I just bought a KitchenAid 39dba (204 series) with free installation and haul away for $680 total with tax. Was considering canceling the KitchenAid order and ordering this Samsung for about $350 with an iPad Mini 2 purchase, but the reviews are pretty bad, and I would have to remove my old dishwasher and install the Samsung myself to save the $330.Saving $330 sounds good, but not when it comes at the cost of headache later. I'd happily pay the extra to not have a broken or leaking dishwasher that needs constant servicing based on the reviews. Also, the $330 is only saved if I install the Samsung myself as the KitchenAid comes with free professional install and all parts needed for the install.Decided to keep the KitchenAid order.
Where did you buy KitchenAid dishwasher from ? I need to buy one ASAP.

I got mine from whirlpoolinsidepass.com. It's actually evencheaper today, so I canceled my previous order and reordered. Had to pay for installation, but even with that, the total for their 39dba model KDFE204KPS was around $615 plus tax (around $656 total) with the cyber Monday discount. On my other account, I was getting free installation, but the dishwasher was more expensive.

I would avoid any Samsung Dishwasher. I got a Samsung Mid range like around US$ 750 from Costco. water leak from the door since the first week. countless service calls with Costco and Samsung. It never resolved. the funny response from the Samsung Tech is that ask me to call Costco to arrange a tech to remove the Dish washer from the cabinet. So he can come back to replace some parts. Case close. deal with this POS for almost 2 years and switch to Bosch. never look back.

How were you able to get the KDFE204KPS model for $615 with installation? I assume you are not referring to the $10 "put in place", which is not an installation service.

It is $550 on inside pass + $99 installation - 5% code for cyber Monday. Total with $40.xx (7.75%) tax was $656.xx.
Btw, the price seems to be different based on what code you use to activate inside pass.

Do you know by chance if I will order installation sercives, would they be able to make a hole in my kitchen cabinet? I have my new kitchen cabinets installed just yesterday, and I'm not sure if I have to pay a handyman to install it or order through the website...?

I don't think they would do that, and I wouldn't risk it as if they tell you on the day of installation that they can't drill holes into cabinets, you are then left with an uninstalled dishwasher that you would have to pay a lot more to get installed than just paying a handyman to drill a hole.
