They are pissing me off. I actually bought it for a family member living elsewhere but apparently the delivery guy told them the drain hose was too short and said to buy an extension and call them again to reschedule an installation. It's so stupid they don't have these $10 supplies on hand.

And Samsung keeps on texting me about the shipping label for the trade in. It will arrive two days after item delivery! Your label is ready. Print it out at My Orders! Guess what? No label still. It went from saying REDEEMED to now CREATED. And no I haven't bought an iPad mini yet.

Edit: they finally have the label available. I bought a $50 ipad on eBay. And of course they had to use fedex, which is the farthest away from me. Anyway, I know this is not a DIY forum, but I'll ask anyway. They said I needed an extension, even though the hose seems long enough. Should this work?

I installed the dishwasher myself as I have been doing mary times before. I used different cycles to wash, and it washed well and very quiet. However, the auto cycle has a big issue which is it doesn't drain the water after the cycle is completed (door open). I wonder if anyone has experienced the same issue?

Its easy except the water intake valve. I went through many YT install videos, safe way is to use their plastic nut to not strip the threads on plastic intake valve. Homedepot has brass valves, even being careful mine got stripped. Getting Samsung to service is a nightmare scenario. They can't even replace it only return/re-order.
Congratulations everyone, including myself, for buying this Samsung Bespoke dishwasher that DOES NOT COME WITH THE WHITE PLASTIC CONNECTOR NUT. Some Samsung dishwasher includes it and some models don't.
My Samsung Bespoke dishwasher did not come with the white plastic connector nut. I bought the Eastman dishwasher kit from Lowes and I couldn't connect the metal 90 degree elbow connector to the dishwasher's PLASTIC inlet water valve's thread. I got to a point where I had to stop because I was worry that I was cross threading and cutting up the plastic inlet water valve's thread. I contacted Samsung Support and they said that the white plastic connector nut is not a part that is included with my dishwasher, therefore, they refused to help me. They told me to contact Samsung Parts to buy the part. I researched and the part is DD97-00573A Assembly Connector. It will cost $50 after tax and shipping. If you bought your dishwasher from Lowes or Home Depot, they may send you that part for free. Since I bought my dishwasher from the Samsung website I have to buy it separately. Samsung cheap out by not including the white plastic connector nut with every dishwasher so that they can fleece more money out of the buyer. Cutting up the plastic inlet water valve's thread with the brass 90 degree elbow connector is a possibility.

I didn't request installation service with my order, I am replacing my old GE unit with this new one. How easy or difficult it is to install this as DIY?
This is an excellent tutorial on how to install a Samsung dishwasher.

My experience was similar to yours except I stopped (hopefully in time) and ordered the white plastic connector nut. I could not connect the brass 90 degree elbow so I stopped before damaging the plastic inlet valve's thread. With your situation, did the plastic inlet valve's thread got damaged and it left the dishwasher unusable? Did Samsung replace your dishwasher for free even though it was a user damaged situation?

I just installing mine. Just swapped it out with what I already had. Used a brass 90. Took my time and made sure it was aligned before turning. Everything is just a tad over finger tight. I did like that the drainage hose is .75" vs my existing .5". Shouldn't have to worry about clogging.

Really happy with it the setup. It comes with two brackets that can be used on top or on the sides. Might order 4 more just to see if I can get it rock solid. Haven't tried actually used it yet but the water is on and there are no leaks. SmartThings setup was easy though it forced me to sync my wifi password, otherwise it kept failing. It has an automated eco mode that tracks electrical savings. Seems pretty common now as my fridge also has energy consumption data.

As for the washer, I'll see this weekend. I didn't know it had a leak sensor so that's a nice extra. I hope that if it ever goes defective that I can just disconnect it. It's replacing an 10+ year old model that has a lingering mildew smell due to it not emptying. Noticed someone saying there's doesn't so fingers crossed its an isolated instance.

Thanks OP for getting me to bite the bullet; don't really trust Samsung but it goes well with my fridge so for $300 ($60 iPad from eBay). As long as it doesn't break after 3 years, I'll be happy, otherwise I'll be going to Bosch.

The installation/delivery company is giving me the run around and refusing to reschedule. The tech had claimed the hose was too short, but on closer inspection, it is long enough and just seems like he was trying to weasel out of installing it. I called RXO, the people installing it, and they keep on saying the support ticket is on hold and they will help me reschedule once the hold is lifted. Been three days and three different calls. Their customer support is of course, all Indian call centers and the line quality is terrible. Not a single email yet or even confirmation of a support ticket.

If I don't get any movement by Monday, I'm just gonna contact Samsung and see if I can get the $200 installation refunded and do it myself. It's honestly a huge joke to me. I would have tried myself to begin with if it was delivered to me instead of a family member.

Just want to make sure how smooth the trade in is? And also like to know that mini2 device is enough or do we have to send other accessories like charger is mandatory?

I don't think they require any accessory. Most important things are fully functional tablet (not locked), battery holds charge, and no crack on screen.

I stripped the front of the threads, Samsung service is crap. At the end since damage is already done. I tightened the brass connected along with plumbers tape as far as I can and there is no leak. Tested multiple times and been using 1 time each day and no leaks. But replacing the plastic inlet hose is easy and part is cheap on Amazon if you strip entire thread instead of dealing with Samsung. Return and rebuy is not an option since we got it for so cheap. I sent my ipad mini 2 from ebay. Ironically the same seller where I bought ipad mini 2 is the same one which is dealing with trade ins. I came to know by checking from address from ebay seller shipment vs the sammy trade in label to address. Congratulations for all who installed with out stripping but for who did strip, you can try tightening like me and hope for the best. If you can search for these two part numbers on Amazon.

Why do manufacturers like Samsung make the inlet hose out of plastic. The plastic thread can easily get shredded by the brass connector. If Samsung is making it out of plastic, then they need to include the white plastic nut with every dishwasher. I didn't want to pay $50 from Samsung Parts so I bought part DD97-00573A from an Ebay seller for $10.
