The best air fryer out there. If you don't want anything to break and are just looking for an air fryer, oven, broiler. This is perfect. All the settings are mechanical. So you no electronics to fail or break, it's super simple to use and set, turn dials for settings turn dial for timing. That's it nothing else to it. And it works great on all the settings.

I say this as we had one for years and gave it to a family member only to start using one that has all the settings hidden behind digital knobs and settings. for a simple oven bake pizza setting requires 10 steps and if you mess up you practically start all over again. And guess what it does not do any better job then the Cuisinart, it just looks fancier.

How's the air fry setting compared to the basket style ones? I feel the fans on those is normally much stronger

This thing has its quirks (pretty much anything I've made in it, I've had to use trial and error to nail the 'perfect' cooking instructions as it runs hot in general) but I've tried a number of 'fancier' air fryers from Ninja and some other competitors and still keep coming back to this one. If you are complaining about 450 being too low for the max temp you haven't let this thing sit on air fry for 20 minutes at the highest setting, it gets hot as hell.

Are the trays in this plain aluminum, or does it have nonstick coating? Prefer no coating.

The only major drawback is cleaning .
  • Due the height you are sticking you arm in the dark hoping to clean the back of the oven.
  • Good luck cleaning the top. The way it's design is very unintuitive to clean, so buy a new unit every few years or at worst potentially dangerous grease fire.
  • Unlike tray air fryer there is no unit to take out to clean. Have to take the whole unit to the kitchen sink for deep clean side and back
  • It isn't as tightly sealed, too many air escape points, so using a tray of water to steam clean or loosen the grease inside is almost impossible

Example of the top

I've had this air fryer now for about 4 years and it's still going strong. My wife and I've cooked countless meals in this and cannot be happier with it. IMO, this is hands down the best air fryer out there.

Great air fryer. Use it at least once a week. Not flashy or fancy since everything is manual/mechanical. The only downside is it doesn't have sensors to adjust heat to stay constant temperature. So cooking with precision is hard.

Don't waste money on this. It's tiny compared to other air fryers in sale price range.

Bought it and couldn't even fit 4 chicken breasts or a small pizza in it...went back instantly and bought the larger emerald one from the Kohl's deal

Good device but mine has a timer that sometimes sticks. One downside of mechanical over digital controls. Otherwise a good oven.

I have this and it's great! The only drawback is it doesnt have a timer. Except for toasting setting. And it can be pretty small inside. I have stick the rack at the coil to fit a sweet potatoe. This is my 2nd one.

There is no coating. I recommend covering the pan with foil to aid in cleanup.

I just bought this recently to replace my old one that I had for about 6 years. It was basically the same model, but the selection knob started to fail. Apparently that is a known issue on the older ones, but I am hoping the new one doesn't have the same issue.

This is a great deal for this toaster. It's a great toaster oven, even if you "only" get six years or so out of it.

Nothing is guaranteed! My door contact switch broke. I had to open it up and bypass the switch.

I had the TOA 60 model for years until the dials failed. They are a hassle and expensive to replace. Great "toaster oven", okay air fryer. probably getting this to replace the old one.
