Mine likes it. She'll be able to play it just fine but maybe not master the strategy behind it. At this price it is a steal.

So I would say depends on the kid a little then but its right around there.
This will be interesting for sure but little overwhelming for a 8yr old. This is the cheapest I have seen in last 3 years. Good for gifting as well.
