This is pretty fun. Got it for the kids last year. Think more Mario Party minus mini games than Game of Life.

I can concur. I'm a big fan of Game of Life and have various editions. My friend works at the manufacturer and got me a copy of this game as soon as it released. This was a big let down in that department.

But it's a fun game on its own and if you love Mario like many do, it's a fun tie-in.
