Great Review by RTINGS w/ 8.4/10 [rtings.com]

The Cooler Master GP27U is an impressive overall monitor. It's excellent for the office thanks to its sharp text clarity, high peak brightness to combat glare, and excellent ergonomics that make it easy to adjust. It's also excellent for gaming as it has HDMI 2.1 bandwidth for console gaming, a fast response time and low input lag for a responsive feel, and VRR support to reduce screen tearing. It displays a wide range of colors in SDR and HDR, which is important if you want to watch content, and it also displays deep blacks thanks to its decent Mini LED local dimming. While it's also great for content creators, you'll have to calibrate it for the best performance.
But poor to mixed Amazon reviews

Reviews are awful. No good recent reviews. Gotta pass on this one.

I only see this: Warranty: 90 Day Woot Limited Warranty. Where does it say 3 year warranty?

I think they mean cooler master's oem warranty.

Amazon reviews are scary with this monitor.

Bought, then cancelled within 30 minutes after reading reddit reviews. Reliability didn't concern me too much, with extended warranties available, but there are apparently still flickering issues with local dimming and VRR turned on at the same time. I didn't want to bother with the headache (literally and figuratively).

Great deal, otherwise, if you're okay with the numerous potential issues.

According to this reddit post, this monitor still has unfixed issues.

Looking at some of the reviews, It looks like #1 make sure the firmware updated.

Also I'd guess the random loss of signal reviews are because of cable quality, I wonder if the included cable just sucks or if people are using their own cables because 4K at 160HZ is a lot of bandwidth. You need to use a quality cable that is as short as it can be, if it needs to be over 6' I'd look for a fiber HDMI or fiber DP cable that is rated for the bandwidth.

Sadly it looks like the overall QC on this monitor isn't that great, with reviews about dead pixels & the backlight completely failing.
It's temping though at that price, might get lucky & get a good unit, but there is also the risk of it just wasting time having to deal with support or do a return.
