I have said millions of times snapdragon is trash. But I have owned this specific laptop. The screen is GREAT. Anything system is TRASH. Buy on your own risk.

Mind going into some detail for why it's trash? App compatibility? General performance?

Yes, compatibility. People say I'm trolling but I'm just telling them what to expect.
No online game, as they all have anti cheat that won't run.
No AAA game, since the snapdragon performance is VERY bad (not raw performance).
No Google Drive, making it impossible to work with people (does have a beta as of today).
If you can live with this, you can functionally live with an android or iPad instead of Windows.
That being said, I freaking love this screen. It's stunning. It's touch. It doesn't look cheap. For $629 - 10%cb, it's at least a better buy than s10 ultra.
If you try the "second best" deal out there, which is a vivobook Lunar Lake Ultra 5, you know how far away that junk feels from this bad boy. It's just that, if you can live with the absolutely trash compatibility, this thing is awesome.
It at least is better than a $600 iPad or s10 ultra as for compatibility - you still have a keyboard and a nice screen!
Crap. In for one. They are at least nice tablets. Delivery January though. Plenty of time for regret.

Thanks for the feedback. I have a galaxy book 3 ultra that I use for browsing, YouTube, VPN, and probably office in the future since I'm in grad school. My GB3U is nice (the screen is the best I've ever seen in a laptop) but the battery life leaves a lot to be desired. I am curious to see what Samsung's next Galaxy Book 5 Pro line will be like. They'll probably have the lunar lake chips which would honestly be my first choice, but I doubt they'll be anywhere close to $629 anytime soon.
I game but not really on my laptop. I realized that I prefer to just game on my PC after owning the GB3U for a year. I think based on your feedback this will be a good option for me. I'll try it out and return it if I don't like it. Biggest downside with this machine, aside from compatibility, would be lack of expandable storage. I'm also not a fan of the ridiculously large touchpads on these GBs lol. They're not deal breakers, but they're unnecessarily large and they're not even very responsive in my experience.
