This was and STILL IS the same price at walmart. Same price and orders over $25 ship free.

I got this for 239 at Amazon with the coupon on page
I also purchased applecare that's gonna be quite a hassle because they never sent me any agreement number just a generic applecare document

Costco online currently sold out, but they may restock. My local Costco says they've got more arriving later this week so it should still be possible to get a $250 10th Gen at brick and mortar. I'm hoping this means online will restock as well.

If I'm not mistaken, the Apple Care will be tied to the serial number. At least that's what I was told by Costco customer service. I picked up Beats Studio Pro for my son last week at Costco, it came with Apple Care for 2 years. I had the same confusion you did. Costco customer service said it's already applied based on the serial number.
