well just purchased this and i signed up for the prime visa card and got a $200 GC as a bonus. Total after tax was 620 (10.75 sales tax where I live). I also got 5% cash back with the card.
Can finally move on from my GTX 1650 and really get some usage from my 1440p 240 hz monitor.

I find it amazing that people are dumb enough to pay these prices and then the manufacturers take advantage of the opportunity and they are even bold enough to make it seem like a deal.

When covid hit and things were scare that was one thing. This is just laughable now. Go get geforce now for $20/mo and subscribe to the never ending treadmill of minor upgrades if that's your jam. Maybe the math works out for bitcoin mining on a solar farm

I'd really like to see a 4080 TI deal for once. The problem is that gamers keep buying and with the potential for tariffs next year, there's less incentive for NVDA/retailers to discount current GPUs.

I agree prices are too high but GeForce now isn't even close to being an alternative if you play anything multiplayer

Hmmm... just ordered an ASUS ROG 4080 Super last night for $1100 + tax. Won't ship until mid-Jan, after we have some clarity on 5 series so figured it was a safe bet. Should I consider this instead since it's about $350 less?

And they account for the majority! This website is a great place to dumb people watch. They even give you a price chart and most of these people froth at the mouths for "deals" that are just products being sold for the same price since release. It's like they need it to be posted here before they can give themselves permission to buy it.

4070ti was $800
using the high 4% annual inflation rate, that 1070ti would be $575, but here we are at $800+
