I see this is unpopular, but thanks OP for posting; I think the 980 pro from BB with an Amazon 9$ HS came to 137ish, so for 24$ more I'll get the 990 w/HS and faster speeds 🤷 ♂️ which I'm okay with. I know it's not the best deal for a 2TB, but perfect for my use case (PS5).

This years experiences have been SO fully horrid: they helped transform priorities.
Now clearing out the project bins & learning how to grow my own dang food.

Complaining on SD may feel good for a moment, but if you're in a "want" state vs a real need, and give in and pay it won't help prices come down.
