With "Dell Refurbished" (FedEx Recycling), it's better to get a 50% discount on systems they've already discounted by 12-21%.

This deal is for 55% off, which sounds great, but they offer a much better deal at many other times throughout the year.

Base Price $699 - 55% = $315 ("Cyber Monday")

Base Price $699, then discounted by 15%, then applying a 50%-off coupon = $297.50 (Many times during the year.)

From FedEx Recycling, we recommend Dell desktops and some Dell laptops (Precision). We won't buy anymore Latitudes as we had two break completely after 90 days and within about 1 year. Maybe we just got a bad batch on those 2 separate orders of Latitudes.

Suggest you also research the Latitude 5420. Companies (and Governments) buy these Dell Latitude business laptops in lots of 100. Ignore the retail price as every "business" client gets a massive discount off the inflated retail price. That doesn't happen for consumer grade products.

Redit:

there have been issues with the touchpad back in Q3/Q4 '22. these were physical issues though. the touchpad would get wedged in the case. Dell never acknowledged this but their tech told me this was occuring on a large scale. Of the 20 notebooks we orderd, 10 needed a touchpad replacement.

We have about 600 of these in our company and they are by far the worst laptops we have. We've had so many just stop booting and Dell just replaces the motherboards. Majority of them the warranties are running out so we are going to have a bunch of dead laptops in the near future probably.
etc.
