Model # 3816-010-02582-10 (which is this one on this deal) is indeed the sapphire edition. You can also check the details on bestbuy with this model #.

Totally agreed. I don't want to have to fumbled around looking for my iPhone while it's ringing and missed an inbound call. Garmin Venu 3 or 3S have the outbound/inbound calls capabilities.

You are correct. When I did a search it gave me no results but I when I manually looked through the list under outdoors, I found it.

With this Garmin epix2, you can only select a message from the existing list to respond back.

great watch. Almost considered selling my FR965, but ill just wait a year or two until I can get the gen 2 pro. I can wait.

FR965 is slightly better, but the epix is better material and design.

It may not be fair comparison, but how is this one stacking up to Fenix 8 Amoled? I got one but I feel like it's too much of a watch for me. I just want a nice screen and main Garmin features

What is better about the FR965 over the Epix 2? Just curious. It's a $150 premium over this.

That's a bummer. I rarely use the answer phone option on my wristwatch. I've been just so frustrated with Samsung watches lasting less than 2 days so I'm switching to this but I hope I don't miss too many features. I can't tell you how many times though I go to my watch and it's black because it's dead. I stopped wearing it almost a year ago because it just would not last long enough.

And that's my fear...ordering the watch and then being denied. That just happened with the 7% at AJ; they just put "canceled" on my cashback, albeit I used the Paypal cashback as well. I'm just not going to use the cashback as an incentive to figure out if an item is justified to purchase anymore.

Meh. I had an Apple Watch for 5 years. I never activated cellular as I didn't want to pay for the service and I had my iPhone on me all the time (except while running). I hated reading and responding to texts through the watch and never used it for calls. When I got my Epix, i ended up turning off all my phone notifications being sent to the watch as it was too distracting. I don't miss that functionality at all.

Any luck getting it to stack with PayPal? Their page says "combine with other offers for a better deal", so maybe it will go through.

The notable differences are lack of a speaker and some nominal smartphone capabilities that come with it, an older generation heart rate monitor and no flashlight. I was debating which way to go, too. I decided to go with the Epix 2– I will use it for a couple years, sell it for $150, then upgrade to the newest fenix; I want the smart phone features to become more seamless before shelling out north of $1k for a watch. The epix 2 is quite capable, and a real slick deal if you take advantage of the cash back sites…
