Oh, put a sock in it. Between the screen being too small to read without scaling and no video cards being able to push max quality at 4K AND high frame rates (even an RTX 4090), you're just babbling noise. (And GTFOH with that capital-G "Gamer" preening.)

The 'DW' model also has an active cooling fan which is audible when it spins up. If you are sensitive to noise like this, I highly recommend you look at the 'DWF' model!

Depends on your graphics card and games. I like 1440p and highest fps vs 4k and lower fps.

The original white plastic AW3423DW wasn't able to update the firmware which was a deal-breaker even with the G-Sync Ultimate especially considering the AW3423DWF was out several months before they patched the EOTF issues with HDR1000, bringing it into spec.

I got a DWF in August 2023 for less than $450 because some scammer bought one from Beast Buy, swapped in his old DW model and returned it where BB resold it as Open Box-Excellent without ever catching the switcheroo. I did the moment I pulled the stand out and saw the G-Sync badge then the white plastic. (DWF is black.) Took it back and they not only set me up with a NEW unit (had to drive to a store a half-hour away to get it) but somehow double credited my Reward Zone certs so I got the best monitor I've ever had for the least I've ever paid for a monitor in 25 years of computing.
