Project farm reviewed Avapow and it was number 2 on the list of best jumpers. Watch your mouth talking about Avapow. No name brand my a$$
The Ryobi one is good too if you already have the 18v set.
Why wouldn't it? I have owned tons of air inflators throughout the years from cheap $10 Ross ones to Viair and Ryobi ones. All of them have been able to fully inflate car tires with no issues. What makes the difference is the noise level, run time (they can over heat), and speed at which they can inflate the tires. I have a cheap $40 jump starter/air compressor/power bank and it inflates tires just fine and it's just a bit slower than my two Ryobi portable tire inflators.

I don't know this brand but for the price it seems like a great deal, just keep in mind to charge it every 3 months or so because the last thing you want is to find out it's dead when you are on the side of the road. And of course it's better to have a tire inflator that plugs into the cigarette lighter but this one is more convenient if space is an issue.

I also have both the 6000A from a previous deal not opened yet and this one. I purchased them to replace a couple year old 4000A from Avapow that has worked flawlessly and is excellent at holding a charge but it doesn't have the force start feature. This one DOES NOT have a force start button which I thought it was supposed to have. Reading the description again at walmart it says "Built-in forced start function can even quickly start a car with a low battery voltage". So is built in forced start the same feature as forced start button without the need to hit a separate button?
I think thats the key word--low voltage. What if the car battery has no voltage? I had a much older version of a battery jumpstarter where I had to push a button on the jumpstarter to send power to the battery to then start the car. I think these newer units automatically sends power as soon as you have the green light from the connector--I noticed because once the green light is lit (by correctly putting the alligator clamps on), the battery percentage on the unit started to decrease. So not sure if thats what they meant by "built in"?

I've tried every combination of buttons on the 3000A and nothing seems to indicate that it was forcing power through. But someone on this thread did mention that you can buy a dongle with a button in it...

I saw that detail as well but the included manual does not provide any additional information so I sent an email to Avapow support to try and get clarification. I only plan on keeping one and while I like the addition of the tire inflator for limited use the main reason for purchasing a newer unit was to have a forced start feature that will at least attempt to start a dead battery.

I don't get why so many people are having such high doubts. I've used way cheaper pumps like a rinky dink one from harbor freight that was maybe $5 and that worked fine too on my f150...

Not sure if people are expecting to use these constantly or what - I wouldn't expect to use this constantly except for dumb things like basketballs or bike tires and even then I doubt it'd be that often... For a car I'd use this as needed which outside of an emergency is what, maybe a few times a year?

Where I think this will fail is hitting high psi, it might advertise that but I'm only expecting to use this on car tires which are usually what, around 35 psi?
How many times did you use that 5 bucks inflator , like 3 times ?

Probably 10 times, 4 of them to inflate the tires on my truck where one of them was for a completely flat tire to get to the tire place and patch the tire. I didn't use that one for more than tires since I didn't have any children at the time.

I gave that away to a neighbor who didn't have anything since I had something else that was newer and probably about $20 which i still use today and that was probably about 5 years ago - it still worked but it was $5 and I didn't expect that to last much longer. No particular reason for that feeling except that it was $5. The $20 pump I've used a bit more over the years and that's still going strong.

This kind of device I'm expecting to be fine for maybe 5 years max where I'll either throw it out or give it away - I just want something to have in the new car I just bought in case a tire goes flat.

Looks like you can still get the $5 inflator if the harbor freight you go to has it:

Mine just came in and the pressure gauge/sensor for the inflator is horrifically inaccurate. My car needs 33 PSI for the front and 36 for the rear. My front was currently at 27 and rear was at 30, so I figured this would be a perfect test.

I set the inflator to 33 PSI and let it start inflating. It read the current pressure at 25 and got stuck at 28. After a few seconds, I turned it off manually and the gauge still read 28 PSI. My car read 34 PSI and my ETENWOLF Vortex S6 read the same.

I thought it was a fluke, so I tried the rear at 36 PSI. This thing read 28 PSI, got stuck at 30, shut it off while it still read 30, but my car and the ETENWOLF both read 34 PSI.

It's nice to have both a jumper and tire inflator in one portable device, but I would recommend a separate tire gauge to prevent overinflating your tires.

I bought the FP 6000A jump starter for myself and the FP 3000A with inflator as a gift for friend. The 6000 has fairly thick jumper leads, something you'd expect for a jump start. While the 3000a is substantially smaller gauge. The 3000A has no force start feature. I do not believe the 4000A cables have a force start feature either which is a deal killer if you ask me.

Sometimes batteries drain down significantly if you leave a light on or door open and this would make the jump starter useless in these situations. The force start should be a standard feature on all these jump packs.

How do these batteries hold up in extreme heat? I live in AZ and it gets to 120 degree sometimes in the summer and inside a vehicle it's a good 170 in the sun (or higher).
120? Where do you live in Phoenix. Lol.. I live here to and it never reaches 120.

When it comes to needing something in an emergency I'd spend more than $5 to get something a little better than that guy...

Alright this sufficiently scared me enough not to buy it.

Project Farm is the "basic b*tch" of tool reviews. Gets way too much credit for very shallow knowledge.
