How do these batteries hold up in extreme heat? I live in AZ and it gets to 120 degree sometimes in the summer and inside a vehicle it's a good 170 in the sun (or higher).

Don't expect anything more than $50 performance. No chance this was ever worth much more than the sale price let alone $280.

Why wouldn't it? I have owned tons of air inflators throughout the years from cheap $10 Ross ones to Viair and Ryobi ones. All of them have been able to fully inflate car tires with no issues. What makes the difference is the noise level, run time (they can over heat), and speed at which they can inflate the tires. I have a cheap $40 jump starter/air compressor/power bank and it inflates tires just fine and it's just a bit slower than my two Ryobi portable tire inflators.

I don't know this brand but for the price it seems like a great deal, just keep in mind to charge it every 3 months or so because the last thing you want is to find out it's dead when you are on the side of the road. And of course it's better to have a tire inflator that plugs into the cigarette lighter but this one is more convenient if space is an issue.

Should be ok, I have been using one of these (different brand) for about 3 yrs and it still works without issues. I store it under the seat because it seems that's the coolest place in the car.

Really? I always thought high heat killed batteries. That's good to know.

Car tires are usually 32 to 35psi, you can literally use a bicycle pump to pump them up (although it would take forever).

No reason to think it wouldn't work just fine.

Cheap inflators have a short duty cycle or they will overheat and fail

I almost purchased this but went with the gooloo a3 for just a bit more simply because there was more information and reviews on it. From what I gathered as a jumper these are great. The pump is more for emergency use on a car due to overheating, but bicycle tires and basketballs it's great.

I don't get why so many people are having such high doubts. I've used way cheaper pumps like a rinky dink one from harbor freight that was maybe $5 and that worked fine too on my f150...

Not sure if people are expecting to use these constantly or what - I wouldn't expect to use this constantly except for dumb things like basketballs or bike tires and even then I doubt it'd be that often... For a car I'd use this as needed which outside of an emergency is what, maybe a few times a year?

Where I think this will fail is hitting high psi, it might advertise that but I'm only expecting to use this on car tires which are usually what, around 35 psi?
