I purchased this "new" when it was on sale in September. It was clearly used and would only duplicate my Mac, not extend. I now see it says "Note: Due to the limitation of macOS itself, all extended screen content will be the same." on the product page. Defeats the purpose for my needs. I returned it.

I purchased this "new" when it was on sale in September. It was clearly used and would only duplicate my Mac, not extend. I now see it says "Note: Due to the limitation of macOS itself, all extended screen content will be the same." on the product page. Defeats the purpose for my needs. I returned it.

MacOS doesn't support daisy-chaining over the regular USB-C, only with the Thunderbolt dock (which costs 5-10x $$$ compared to this device)

lol believe it or not Mac laptops are just now getting the ability with M3 and M4 to drive multiple external monitors. Absolutely crazy.

Assuming the product is new, this is a great deal as docking stations with this type of connectivity rarely sell at this price level.

I received one for free and gave it a review. I tested with Win 10 and Win 11 and was able to dual screen, set up a M/KB/printer and everything worked. For the price, it's not bad at all. I didn't have any problems.
