looking to bring 5 lines to mint as new customer. Best to do the 1 year $180 unlimited for each one? Or do one line and hope this $15/line for 2 years comes up on my account?
it depends. I believe the promotion for one free line if you buy them at the same time and both numbers from switching either from Verizon or AT&T. And, then what will happen after 3 months? You can keep the same plan if you are happy with Mint and purchase a year long plan $30 a month ($360 yearly).
Or, you can pay upfront $360 now and not worry about a year long!

I wasn't able to get the $15/mo for unlimited data pricing as an existing customer, I think that is for new lines/customers only.

That being said, as an existing customer you can join a mint family (with at least 2 lines in the family) and get the benefit of paying every 3 months (but you still get the 12-month plan price).
