Laptop supports advanced optimus.
140W RTX 4050 is as good as some of the 4060 laptops out there.
It's a chonker at 6lbs, but that's not the end of the world.
I think this might be a winner at $600, with a ~$50 32GB RAM kit.

To optimize gameplay:
Play at 1080p with medium-to-high settings.
Enable DLSS if available for better frame rates.
Consider upgrading to 16GB RAM for smoother performance in demanding areas.
The 165Hz display will enhance the gaming experience for smoother visuals.

I can't find anything definitive but I'm guessing based on other similar models that it has a slot for for a second m.2 ssd.
I guess it only has a 90 day warranty from woot instead of the normal 1 year acer warranty?

Corrected.
Corrected.
Three caveats:
- 7640HS CPU
- Acer doesn't list a 40gbps port on this guy, but all the USBs are listed as 3.2 gen 2, so they should be 10gbps all around like the Legion Slim 5 with 7640hs/7840hs. I wouldn't be surprised if the A's were only 5gbps though.
- Acer software is fairly junky. Which is a great injustice to the quality of the machines they put out.
Legion Slim 5 (7840HS/4060) was on my short list this year, and there was a lot of noise in reviews about the 7640HS version being notably less performant than the 7840HS.I think this is a good deal, just some things to be aware of. I wound up with a 13700HX/4060 Predator Helios 16. I like Acer in spite of their clunky control software.
