I'm going to guess that some people with bed bugs have returned the frame, and then Amazon didn't really check the returns and just threw them back into inventory to be sold on to someone else.
I'm a happy customer of a similar Zinus bedframe from a few years back, no bed bugs.

Agreed.. I've had several zinus frames and mattresses with no problems. I really like the brand!
