I own a higher end Tineco, which I love, and have absolutely no need for another one. Just ordered this one. At $50 don't think about it - just get it and figure it out later. This may be a gift to my parents...not sure. It's so cheap for what it is. Just buy it. You came to slickdeals to impulse buy- this is the one you were here for

Just a heads up from someone who is in construction and does flooring. If your wood flooring is not sealed this is going to over time ruin your floors. Most flooring isn't sealed properly. You will spend 50 on this and a lot more in a few years
My lvp floor randomly pops/crackles when stepped on
Not sure why. Does it mean my floor is not sealed well
I know you're not supposed to buy vacs for the wifey as a gift, but she has been wanting something like this for awhile. For $50 bucks it can solely be used for muddy paw prints and be worth its weight in gold. Thanks for posting!

Not necessarily. If it's in a kitchen or bathroom that gets wet a lot it could be. A sign is if the ends of seams look like the paint is bubbling. Then most likely. Most are just rushed and not well installed. Installers work quick to get it done. It usually takes 2-3 years till a bad installation shows issues. By then most companies are going to blame home owners for not taking care of it well and charge you for the fix.
Great question, this cycles more water and pressure pushing it thru the seams. It's easy to seal hard wood will poly or oil sealer. Problem is most installers do it quick rather than right if they are paid as extra to do it. Most people who do it themselves don't even do it. I have even replaced flooring for people who mop with lots of water too often.
Ah, that makes sense, thanks. Any recommendations for products that would be safer but do the same job? Or just keep Swiffering?
Ah what the heck... ordered one. It looks like Tineco has a 2 year warranty on their vacuums? I purchased with my Chase card which is supposed to extend the warranty by another year. Let's just hope we don't need to get to that point. Bought this for my in-laws as the corded steam mop we got them a few years ago isn't used much. I will probably give that one to my parents. Or vice-versa if my in-laws decide they actually do want to use the steam mop lol...
If Tineco gives 2 yrs does Walmart give +2 on top of it or we don't need the Walmart warranty at all? If you return, does Walmart return the warranty as well

Your floor likely wasn't leveled before putting on the LVP and/or used cheaper underlayment (or possibly none at all)
Thanks. There is no underlayment but LVP boards have some soft layer underneath. Can these noises be from poor install? Cold weather?
My subfloor is not level, where two boards meet it has slight dips
Looks like i have terrible floors lol

yeah, any uneven surfacing could cause noise and a noticeable dip when you walk over that specific area.
Everyone told me to install underlayment even if the flooring has underlayment "built-in," depending on what type of subflooring you are installing. Concrete? You will want a vapor barrier. If your subflooring has minimal level issues, installing a foam underlayment could help solve any dips and noises

Just go to Lowe's or Home depot and buy sealer and seal the floors. Do it in the morning and ventilate the house and wear proper clothing and protection. Or pay to have it done professionally. It's cheaper to do prevention then repair

LVP flooring on top of subfloor boards
Doubt my builder installs underlayment under warranty. They barely acknowledge my crackling noises as they say house needing time to settle lol

These are good questions - I don't have the answers but maybe someone else here does. Basically, is the additional warranty an *extended* warranty, right?
