I'm on simple choice from 10 years ago. Lol
Should put "Bill Credits" in the title.
Cause I am on the old "ONE" plan, got 6 paid lines and 6 free lines over the life of being a customer for 10 years.

Finally some deals for customers like me on older plans, I jumped on the previous deal for 800 trade on a old S9 I picked up on ebay. (trying to see if I can get buds).

I get what you are saying for those on the newer Go5G plans but I pay less than those MVNOs per line with my current plan.

Was gonna do it but it doesn't seem like it's worth the hassle for a rather mediocre phone.

Pixel phone values plummet rapidly and are pretty much only a couple hundred bucks in a year or two.

If you were to do this, go for the Pixel 9 pro XL which seems to retain its value far better.

If this were an iPhone deal, I'd be all over it.
You're not wrong about the value dropping quickly, but even at pixel 7, these days is worth $200. The eight or any of the pro phones still have a decent value on the aftermarket.

Reached out to CS (611) and explained that I got the Pixel 9 last week with trade-in, but now T-Mobile is also offering the Pixel Buds and I would like to take the benefit of it.

The rep said it is unlikely since each promo is different and since I already sent the trade-in device, they can only escalate it to the promotions team and will get back to me in a week.

Today morning, I tried again, this time on chat. The rep immediately understood the difference and offered me a choice between the Pixel Buds A series or the Pixel Buds Pro 2. I confirmed multiple times that it is going to be completely free and I won't be charged for it.

Went ahead with the Pixel Buds Pro order, paid $20.99 in taxes. The rep credited that back to my account.

P.S. If one rep declines, try again. Good luck!

Edit: A couple of hours after the order for the Pixel Buds Pro, T-mobile sent me an email to digitally sign the EIP which stated that I will have to pay the remaining amount over 12 months. I immediately reached out to CS, but this time they only offered the Pixel Buds A that I had to order for $99 and they will credit my account with $33.33 for the next 3 billing cycles. Not so lucky I guess Big Grin

Is this the best way to unload a note 9? $800 trade in, Samsung only has $300 at the moment.

Wow lucky you getting the Pixel Buds Pro 2. I was able to get them to send the Pixel Buds A Series without having to do returns and what not. They charged me tax and shipping though. Maybe I should try to ask if they can credit that back to me.
And they said it was one per account, not per line.
Still, free buds makes the deal today better than what I got on Black Friday. =)

I didn't know you can drop in your trade in at the store.... is this true?
Yes you can, only the T-Mobile experience stores, which are corporate owned. They inspect the phone and apply the credit right away.

Go5g is a rip off and the worst plan Tmobile has ever offered. I'm on the one plan and switching to this has no benefits yet would be a lot more expensive

Please clarify. OP stipulated GO plans only but it seems some people on older plans are getting this same offer? I am on Magenta and don't see it.

I'm on magenta max and all 4 lines qualify. I have yet to pull the trigger. I'm very suspect on pixel phones and afraid to be stuck with them for 2 years. I've been Samsung since eternity and really afraid to jump ship lol.

And i'll pass on my s23 to her. I'll take the pixel 9 + bud Wink

Trade-in start countdown when I get the phone right?

simple choice here as well for years. Able to upgrade 3 lines with pixel 6 to 9 on 3 separate orders and it went through. This seems too good to be true deal!

Just helped a senior friend upgrade both lines on their ONE Unlimited 55 plan. They happen to have S9 and S9+, the oldest devices eligible for this promo. Contrary to what's stated in the terms, both orders got the free buds!

Just a few days ago, she told me she wanted to upgrade to a large screen iPhone. But I told her she could only get $200 trade-in credit for her plan. This is a deal of a century for them! Now they'll just have to stay in the Android ecosystem for another two years.

According to a reddit user, this Pixel trade-in deal ends today!

It seems chat support is the way to go. (I initiated the chat in the T-Life app.) I was able to get a $50 credit for this month then a $50 credit applied for next month to cover the promo amount on the first try. I guess each rep has their own idea of how to help in these situations, but the age of your account with T-Mobile probably impacts their decision to help or not.
