Finally some deals for customers like me on older plans, I jumped on the previous deal for 800 trade on a old S9 I picked up on ebay. (trying to see if I can get buds).
I get what you are saying for those on the newer Go5G plans but I pay less than those MVNOs per line with my current plan.

With TMO, you really want everything go thru the automated systems because their reps
just give wrong or different answers every time
Yeah out of 3 calls, one of them tried to tell me the same thing about being out of the promo period. One told me my bill was generated already so my credit wouldn't show until the next bill. One told me something isn't right and will escalate my case. I ended up sitting on the phone waiting and was eventually passed onto someone with no accent. I'm guessing someone based in the US. This person looked into it and said it shows I'm getting the promo. I just have to be patient and wait.
My fourth contact was via X to TForce. This time I was told it shows I'm getting the promo but it's a known bug on TMobile's end. And nothing could be done until it's fixed on TMobile's end.
At the end of the day, I have texts and email saying I qualify and am getting the $800. I intend to move up to the CFPB and FCC.
