I bought a pair of Brightroom Cubes on clearance couple years ago. Were terrible. While strong and stable as Ikea's, the laminate was not- almost paper thin, easily stained, scratched and torn.

I would suggest getting the IKEA KALLAX cubes for LP storage. I have 2 stacked ontop of each other that work really well and have no issues with weight.

They are stable enough for LPs. I have a couple larger Kallax shelves too and bought these to augment since I'm running out of room on the Kallax shelves.

Opened the first one of three I got. Hardware pack was cut open, pieces were dirty. Started assembling using my own Allen wrench and screws would only go in about half way. Realized they repackaged this used with 3 thin middle divider pieces (labeled "C") and no top or bottom pieces (labeled "B" in the manual). Just like the vornado fans target is selling used crap as new, which I'd be fine with if they had repackaged the proper pieces for the item. Unbelievable.
