He meant jackstands but his brain can't be funny and factually correct at the same time. Leave that to the professional.

It's a pretty basic jack . For $10 more this is a better jack and deal . https://www.harborfreight.com/3-T..._id=183278

It's got a longer reach and it will lift higher; to almost 20" versus 18" for the $80 jack.

They just extended that $90 Black Friday price just for this week.

Harbor freight jacks are awesome for getting crushed to death
Recycling misinformation from online. It was jack stands...actual # of deaths ever released? To be clear other companies sells same jack stands made from same manufacturer; alltrade, craftsman, duralast, etc. Just look at the stands some even has similar parts#. HFT are one of the few to this day that will actually give some $ back or swap out new set. Seems like good customer service to me. Do research/check the recall list.

Use ramps if your concerned about jack stands safety but your limited due to wheels removal. Another alternative would be small lift/cost.

Is the floor jack good enough? My old one doesn't really lift my sedan high enough to get the jack stands under
In my opinion 18-1/4 is a pretty poor lift height. I would go for something with a longer reach.

If they were actually from the same factory, others probably didn't skip the quality control checks and pulled the questionable stands before they got to consumers. It's also possible that the manufacturer did their own QC and sold the good ones to the better companies, leaving the poorly made ones for the lowest bidder.

I don't have experience with that that specific Hercules grinder or the Milwaukee, but I have several of the $10 Warriors, a Bauer, a Dewalt, and a different Hercules grinder. I started with the Warriors then as time went by 'upgraded' to the more expensive ones.

What I noticed when going to the more expensive grinders is, when you've got lots of grinder work to do their smoother running really helps with your hands going numb.

I'm getting this Hercules and will donate the cheaper grinders to others just starting out in metal fab.
Thank you! Ill jump on it then.

No comment on the winches being 40% off?
Badlands 12k for like $210. Seems like a good deal for a name brand.

They ran this deal a few months ago with a 40% off of Dayton jacks, IIRC. That was sweet though I missed out on it.

I got the low profile, extended reach jack on that deal. It's a nice jack for the lowered cars and has higher lift than most for trucks.

The split beam is awesome and reliable. After using the cheap $10 torque wrenches that all never clicked when they were supposed to, this split beam has been very good for my needs. The swivel angle makes access much better too.

HF jack. Easy exchange during warranty period. Add a 2x4 if you need the extra 2". Invest in quality jack stands with the # saved. Test it well during return period. I personally prefer the Daytona jack...$10-$20 more when on sale.

If you have a Costco membership, they have the Arcan 3 ton jack for $99. Much better quality jack.

I just bought the Daytona low pro jack what's the difference between the Daytona and Pittsburg line. The price is a big difference. Also saw comments about jack stands from harbor freight I just bought some to pair with the jack should I be worried?
