8 out of 10 times, RTX 4050 will be better than the RTX 3060, so no it's not better but that doesn't mean RTX 3060 is bad, it can still play almost every game at 1080p and in raw power, it is ahead of the 4050.

Maybe slightly? It depends on the game, sometimes the 4050 is faster, for other games the 3060 wins.

There are laptops on sale for below this price, such as the Acer Nitro and Lenovo LOQ, with better screens(100% sRGB), a 4050 GPU, faster USB charging, a newer CPU, and DDR5. I'd recommend one of those over this 2+ year old refurbished model.

Curious the picture shows RTX 4050

I bought one earlier this year with nearly the same specs but about 250 dollars more with a 4050 in it. I've been pretty happy with it

Honestly this is a pass, around this price point you could have got new laptops with a 4050 or with the RX7700S which both spank this one. For it to be a slick deal for a refurbished unit sub $500.

This rtx 3060 deal IMO is better than the rtx 4050 deal. It's cheaper. Faster cpu. GPU roughly similar.

Having said that the Intel chip is a 4 core chip. I know for a fact in certain games it would get crushed by the 6 core ryzen. BeamNG Drive being one for example because E cores are worthless in that game.

This might be the better deal even tho it's Intel 13th gen. I've heard Intel hasn't fully quite fixed the degredation thing but this being an i5 it's not likely. Another cool thing is the Lenovo LOQ has an awesome energy saving mode that lowers temps and you only lose like 3fps and it won't melt down you or run noisy

Yeah, the 4060 is the sweet spot until the 5xxx nvidia cards come out. The 4070 is barely better than the 4060 and only if it's a full wattage. The only way you'll get significantly more power is if you spend a lot more for a 4080 or 4090.
