I bought last years model at a super discount ($118) and it's been a champ. If this years model is similar it's easily worth $149.

How invasive is the fire TV platform in these? I want to use it with a separate streaming device but I picked up a Roku TV a few months ago and it's practically unusable because of how integrated Roku is into the TVs main menu
