The "RGB including white" just means you can make a cool white from the RGB LEDs. The RGBW string (RGb + white) includes a dedicated warm white led in addition to the 3 RGB ones. The warm white looks much better, more like an incandescent white.

I put the 105 ft string of this brand on my 6.5' tree and I think it's just enough. I've attached a few pics of my mostly decorated tree (and there's going to be a hat that covers the top of the tree, so not a lot of bulbs there)

Bought the ones posted today to put up as ambient lighting elsewhere in my home.

The 157.5 ft is a better deal at $50 off. It ends up being .77/foot.

My guess would be that just RGB can mimic white but it doesn't display white well.

Thanks to OP and Sonali - picked up one for the tree and one for outdoors!

Thanks! Been looking at these lights for some time.

Under the price it says there's a deal starting tomorrow on these. I still ordered, but just an FYI if you missed it.

I got the 157.5 ft lights last year for my 9ft tree and that was perfect (lots of lights). 65ft should work for a 7 foot tree, but the light density won't be too high.

I have the Twinkly pre-lit tree, can I add another strand like this to it to increase the density of lighting and still do the effects enabled by the App?

Unless there's a reason to go shorter, I'd buy the 400 LED for $84.99 (after $20 coupon, which perhaps not everyone would have). For the tree, I usually go with the RGB+white; for outdoors, I'm less concerned and use these.

On my 8 foot tree I put up 1600 lights and think the density looks good.

I like a high density of lights similar to Costco's artificial trees. They put 1850 lights on their 7.5 foot tree.

I bought 65' during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals to put ton my house this year. I definitely should have bought more as it looks a little sparse. Something to keep in mind about these is that this line can't be extended. The only way to "connect them together" is by plugging into another outlet and then syncing the lights through the app. Probably not a problem if you are using them on a tree but if you wanted to use them on your house, make sure the length you get is what you want or go for the pro line which I have read can be extended.
