1080 for a 13" laptop still looks excellent imo... Not sure what you expect for $250

11th Gen Core i5, SSD, 16GB RAM and touch... I don't think I've seen a better <$300 laptop for school or everyday usage in the last month. Trigger pulled!

I have both the L14 Gen 3 (AMD, purchased earlier this year from prior deal from same vendor) and L13 Gen 2 Yoga. The Yoga screen has better colors (99 percent sRGB for the Yoga vs 61 percent for the L14, per Notebookcheck), with similar brightness (300 nits). Another consideration is that, according to Lenovo spec sheets, the L14 Gen 3 can take only a 2242 size SSD, while the L13 Yoga Gen 2 can take both a 2242 and 2280, so upgrading the SSD is less expensive with the Yoga Gen 2. As others have observed, the L14 Gen 3 has a better CPU, and they are different computers -- the L14 is not a 2 in 1 like the Yoga.

Thanks OP for all the deals you post. Cheers, and happy holidays.

Idk what gen cpu the one you linked has. Says it's is a gen 1 X13. Gen 1 have 10th gen intel CPUs which are the last of the poor performing ones. Gen 11 have big performance boost over 10.

The Thinkpad L14 G3 from yesterday has a better processor and SSD. Waiting for that to come back in stock again.

Thunderbolt 4 makes this a win. One plug and done with multiple monitors. Not the best and not the worst battery life.

Independent of price expectations, looking at the photos on ebay, it looks like the chassis was designed for a 16:10 (or even 4:3) display and costs were cut to drop in a 16:9 1080p display. resolution-wise, 1080p @ 13" is FINE, but I would feel a little bitter if I would have preferred a 16:10 AND had to stare at that empty void where the screen clearly should have extended into every time I opened it up. But yeah, costs & benefits most often means less cost, less benefit.
This comment is soooo pre-pandemic.

Hoping the SD community can help - correct to say this is a slightly better processor and obviously higher capacity SSD? Worth the additional $80 or hold out for a new deal? Thank you all in advance!

That's a good deal. Not quite as good, though.

Yeah, I know. It's more the PWM on the display. It's unusual for a ThinkPad and it gives some people eye strain and headaches, incuding me.
