*BUT* at $500 this pales in comparison to the convenience of an Insta360 x4. The X4 really records everything in sight and you can frame and edit it later. It is truly fire and forget as long as you're OK editing on a PC or tablet later. Also at $500, you are into the price range for a low end DSLR/ILC which will both blow away the performance in dim light and also allows for framing with the far more detail that comes from an optical zoom lens.
