Interesting size selection. I like the idea of 2 carry ons in a set, but not as much at this price.
The vanity cases are interesting, but small. Hat boxes?

Does TSA allow that big check in? Also can someone who has these comment on their usage? TIA.

I've tried almost all suitcase brands. Nothing beats the price vs performance of Samsonite. They are the best for a reason. Spend the money and get Samsonite instead.

Which ones? Even Samsonite has cheaper ones that are crap.

Why would TSA block anything ? Airlines have individual limits on checked in luggage. Usually 58~62 inch range (H+W+D) depending on the airline.
The big one is 61 inch here..

Vanity Case - 11.25 x 13 x 6.5 in

19" Carry-On - 21 x 14 x 9 in

Big Box 25" - 24.5 x 22.5 x 14 in

While I do have a few Samsonite that I liked (especially zipless ones, which I am on my third replacement wheels), I find the luggage off Amazon called coolife is just as nice for half the cost (i only buy zipless)
I fly internationally many times a year, it has not failed me yet

Samsonite has atrocious customer service and does not stand by their products at all. Their website is full of paid reviews and they delete any others.

Best bet is to buy discounted brands in a big lots store or similar. Baggage handlers will still damage anything and everything.

Wasting money on a has been brand is the least slick of any deal.

I do enjoy all the ones who buy those 4 wheeled samsonites though and inevitably lose a wheel when they check the bag.

ABS is the material to avoid if you're going to check in. It will get tossed and broken.

I have a Wenger Ballistic Nylon carryon which is REALLY good (can't vouch for this ABS stuff), but like almost of these spinner bags, the wheels are the weakest link. The thin double wheeled ones seem too flimsy, so I'd opt for the ones that use larger single wheels in each spinner. I've had multiple wheel failures and when that happens, as long as the wheel housing is intact, I opt to DIY with skateboard type replacement wheels that can be found for $10 -$15 per kit of 4 [amazon.com]. Takes a little effort sawing the axle off but the upgraded wheels will outlast any bag.

Yes, look into buying bags made with polycarbonate instead of ABS

it is the airline that checks these bags in not the TSA.
They usually don't measure regular suitcases like these. I have checked in 32" samsonites.

Thank you. Sorry I meant the airline. I know they are strict on measurements. Just wondering if they care for a particular height or width or if those are interchangeable.

these days they mostly look at the total perimeter length. If you bring in a standard large suitcase, it will pass through without any scrutiny. Luggage makers sell only those that are allowed in the airlines.
So, you don't need to sweat.

Suitcases are just one of those things you have to spend a few bucks to get something decent if you're a frequent flyer. I've had luck with ballistic nylon Travel Pro bags as well as Briggs and Riley.
