Just FYI in case any haters come in, the recent firmware update added the ability to stream select games directly from the cloud if you have PS+ Premium and also fixed Remote Play streaming issues. It feels borderline native at almost all times now, even with my PS5 connected to WiFi. Well worth the $150 price!

Bigger screen, haptic feedback, DualSense features, cloud streaming. A quick google would tell you this.

The fact that you can play Xbox and Steam is irrelevant. This device is a dedicated device to remote play your PlayStation 5. It's very simple. Is everything you own multi-use? Do you use your shower towels to wipe your ass? Your hand soap to clean your hair?

Yes it's like 100 ish games or something right now I forgot the number. But it's also considered a beta and that number is expected to rise AND they're expected to let you stream select games that you purchase

I'll stress again that this is more than capable of smooth playback over wifi on a 5ghz band.

Same happened to me. I suspect that we got on the chat starting right before they closed Chat for the night, so by the time they went to get approval for the bigger than normal price adjustment, those folks that approve it were closed up too, and so they did what they could, and said we can adjust tomorrow (assuming that the price doesn't go up tomorrow at Brandsmart)

Either way, they gave me a discount down to $169.99 which is still a good starter discount, and a promise that I can adjust it the rest of the way post purchase tomorrow when they are available.

Here's the exact verbiage on that chat:

Customer Care agent: XXXX, as this price match is eligible for $149.99 which is below than the allowed discount value for his product, we are unable to adjust the price for $149.99.

Customer Care agent: However, no worries, I can adjust the price for $169.99 now and once the order is placed our post purchase team will help you with the refund of the remaining $20.

Somehow I got a rep that was able to adjust the order without needing to transfer. The transfer is what causes it to die because that dept is unavailable.

I ordered at full price and they adjusted after the fact.

I bought one back near launch and it collected dust. But the recent updates have made it pretty awesome now. Been using it almost daily with zero issues

Just the same experience. Got disconnected and when I tried it again got a message that says they were closed till morning. I just ordered from brandsmart and now I own something that I probably shouldn't have bought. 😁

This makes me feel much better about my purchase especially because I have the plus premium but don't have much time to fire up the PS5 in the living room because my toddler owns the space.

You should hardwire if possible. Most routers including 6e wifi units has gigabit as standard. The amount of devices you have on the Wi-Fi also can contribute to lagginess.
