IMO Kobalt tools are much higher quality than Black and Decker and don't cost much more than the prices here (about the same cost if you get the combo.kit sale currently going on).
Kobalt batteries are also generally about 50% cheaper than B&D batteries.

FWIW I have this thing and its great for a quick short cut but if you need to run a piece of plywood it will constantly stop. Before any says did you check your blade, yes I just put a brand new one on. Ended up getting a corded skilsaw from Direct tools on cyber Monday
