  • Registered Hilton Honors members checking in before January 1, 2025, will receive Bonus Points for their stay if the stay is completed on or after January 1, 2025, and prior to or on April 30, 2025.
  • Registered Hilton Honors members will earn Double Points per stay during the promotion period. "Double Points" means members will receive Bonus Points equal to the number of Base Points earned during a stay.
  • There is no limit to the total amount of Bonus Points that may be earned during the promotion period with this offer. However, there are restrictions on the number of Base Points that can be earned on a single stay at certain brands.

I love Hilton with their 2X Amex point transfers, and 5th night free when booking 4. I get to visit Hawaii twice a year with this.

I like their properties but their points redemption rates and value are abysmal.

IHG credit card gives you every 4th night free, which is a huge advantage.

"Value" is in a sense subjective. I assure you I wouldn't be able to get a room with IHG for 50k points per night and transferred for 2X from Amex points. So for 5 nights that's 200K Hilton points or 100K AMEX points to Hawaii. The 2X transfer isn't always available though, I believe.
Perhaps IHG has better rooms but I can also upgrade to a SUITE at Hilton for $70 a night.
I'm strictly referring to Hawaii though. Not sure of other places.

Actually you're on point about Hawaii, in the sense that Hilton's resort properties can be better priced, especially with the recent b1g1 points promo.
Their general properties are crazy priced in points.

I used Iberostar Grand Coral in Punta Cana for 1 suite for 2 adults 2 kids all inclusive, for a total of 270K points for 4 nights. Price per night was 90k, but the 4th night was free.
I had purchased points on b1g1 on IHG, so it made it a steal.

I haven't been to Hawaii but I'll check out Hilton resorts there, cause I hear good things.

Appreciate your post. Seems you see the value that I'm trying to point out. If not, to each their own. I'll be there in March with my 15K points flight deal as well.

I travel a lot for work and book the 2x rate. Given these promos, the points do add up and I get to redeem for personal vacation travel. Been useful for my Europe trips and all-inclusive Cancun stay. Note that the 5th night is free when you redeem points!
