Motherboards and power supplies on the Envy desktops are proprietary so upgrading the power supply limits you to used envy power supplies on ebay.

Try Citi Merchant Offers. They have 30 off 300. Not as good but still something.

Any other GPU is not guaranteed to work.
You can upgrade the CPU up to I7-14700 though(beware of the known Intel bug with 14700 series....though they have a fix now).

Also the "upgraded PSU" has worse efficiency so it consumes more energy in general for only 100W more maximum output....
That is said, if the plan is to upgrade to I7-14700 then I would recommend going with the 500W PSU.
The PCI slot is betwen the graphics card and CPU unless you want to find proxmox compatible USB adapters. You'll have to find a card slim enough and runs cool enough as it's going to sit right between a warm GPU and CPU.
There is only one OEM CPU fan and one 120mm exhaust fan.

Also by faster NIC do you mean a 2.5 gig/10 gig NIC because if so, my network doesn't support both of those speeds. Currently only limited to a gig of switching and 600mbps internet speed.
Sorry if I got it all wrong.
