Not sure if you need to upgrade the power supply for the RTX4060. It's way more efficent and only pulls 110 watts when gaming. It is a $300 (retail) card. I got an open box from Zotac for $225 (previous slickdeal). I see used HP single fan 4060 cards sell for around $275.

Motherboards and power supplies on the Envy desktops are proprietary so upgrading the power supply limits you to used envy power supplies on ebay.

Really considering this for my server build. Mostly will be used for plex running on Proxmox.

How do you get the Chase Offer? I don't see it in my chase app for my Chase Sapphire Reserve or Amazon Prime CC?

It's targetted I have it on 8 of my 8 Chase cards. If you don't have it on Chase Offers.
Try Citi Merchant Offers. They have 30 off 300. Not as good but still something.

Anyone know how these are for upgrading? I've heard some pre-builts don't have much space for larger gpus.

Per the specs document the best officially supported GPU is RTX 4060 (included).
Any other GPU is not guaranteed to work.

You can upgrade the CPU up to I7-14700 though(beware of the known Intel bug with 14700 series....though they have a fix now).

Spec document is here:

As I mentionoed in the description, you do not need to upgrade PSU for RTX 4060...
Also the "upgraded PSU" has worse efficiency so it consumes more energy in general for only 100W more maximum output....

That is said, if the plan is to upgrade to I7-14700 then I would recommend going with the 500W PSU.

Upgrading to a faster NIC:
The PCI slot is betwen the graphics card and CPU unless you want to find proxmox compatible USB adapters. You'll have to find a card slim enough and runs cool enough as it's going to sit right between a warm GPU and CPU.

There is only one OEM CPU fan and one 120mm exhaust fan.

I should have mentioned this system will live in a current rack case I have lying around.

Also by faster NIC do you mean a 2.5 gig/10 gig NIC because if so, my network doesn't support both of those speeds. Currently only limited to a gig of switching and 600mbps internet speed.

Sorry if I got it all wrong.

So it says estimated ship date is December 27, anyone know if there's a way to expedite that date before the 25th preferably?
