The Sole website says the list price on this is $1,199.99, unless I'm missing something? Where is Dick's getting 2k from?

On the market for one and saw this post. Figured it was worth taking a shot at this price point. Extra $20 through the app and a $40 card I had expiring on January.

Thoughts around quality?

Maybe I'm in the minority on this, but I prefer the treadmills with the bars that extend down the sides to the base. With these types of treadmills, I would always drift enough side to side that I'd plant on the edge of the track and nearly trip.

Anecdotal. I have a Sole F80 from 2010. High quality build. Weighs a ton. Maybe a little noisier than new, but still works perfectly and I wouldn't be surprised if it lasted another 10 years. Only had to lubricate the belt once a year or so.

Recommend by Consumer Reports (edit: actually it's not recommended by CR, the F65 and F80 are), and we currently own a F63 that was purchased from Dicks. Very solid frame and nice wide tread belt at 20" (cheap ones tend to have narrower belts). Great warranty as well. Just note shipping weight is about 259 lbs. This thing is an absolute beast to move into a house (in my case, a basement). Just keep that in mind.

I have owned 2 Sole treadmills. Both have been rock solid with normal maintenance. The reason I keep going with Sole over other brands is the no nonsense features. These things don't require subscriptions or fancy running programs. They speed up, slow down, and incline. Can hold a lot of weight if you are on the heavier side trying to slim down. These also hold a fair amount of resale value. In 2 to 3 years I would bet you could get $400-$500 back if you want to trade up to a different form of cardio machine.

Picked up a f80 off marketplace maybe a year or so ago. Hardly used, it was taking up too much space in the lady's apartment. Got it for a steal. Thing is a BEAST. It feels/functions like gym ones. On the quiet side, not to 'smart' which I wanted as I didn't want to be locked into a subscription and I just use an iPad (that syncs with the TM and run with zwift). Highly recommend Sole.

Get a used one. Much much cheaper. Plus when you sell it from not using it much, like everyone, then you don't lose anything

You sound like that guy that joins the gym after the new year and stops going after 3 weeks.

If you have a house built around 2010 and newer. Your house most likely came with AFCI Circuit Breakers and the treadmill will trip the breaker. Use a Tripp Lite Isobar and it should fix the issue.

I went through this hassle with a different older treadmill. The Isobar didn't help unfortunately. It was fixed by getting a newer AFCI breaker though. Apparently the software built into the breaker got a bit smarter since the one made in early 2000's. About $50 plus install if you don't diy.

If you have a local dicks. Order it In store and they'll wave the shipping cost plus they use a local company instead of a nationally contracted one so itll be faster delivery times and assembly.
