They have a good app but dumb restrictions. No GC like you said plus also only one deal at a time which is normally fine until you want to use your bonus points and a deal (people have families) and you can't even do that.

As noted before, some Dollar General locations require cash for gift card purchases. I was out on Thanksgiving getting the 20% off deals on some of these same cards and it was hit or miss. I found 2 locations that would take cards, and 3 locations that were cash only.

I've bought it last 2 years using card, 700-900 worth..... this year the lady gave me attitude when asking questions and was like "I hope you using cash" in like no....."then you can't here".

Sam's Club 5% back is at any gas station (except Costco and BJs), not just at Sam's Club.

Ask for their policy. They tried playing the same game with me, but when the manager got the policy booklet, it clearly said that they cannot put any signs or claim that gift cards can only be sold via cash. Report to their corporate office.

Most of the times the savings don't come out in favor paying cash unless gas is below $3 a gallon so i don't bother. At 3% card savings anything over $3 is almost a wash if you are only saving $0.10 a gallon. Costco visa is 4% so I don't bother with cash... most only save 10 cents near me and even with gas at $2.84 near me it's no point.

ps. you want to get gas on your way vs going out of your way..
