They have a good app but dumb restrictions. No GC like you said plus also only one deal at a time which is normally fine until you want to use your bonus points and a deal (people have families) and you can't even do that.

They actually changed it so you can use your bonus points and a deal at the same time.

Another hack/tip is you can place an order before you go to the store. Then place another order when you get to the store to get around the 15 minute timer.

Good info, I didn't know you can't use GC in their app. But could it still work if you scan the deal code at the kiosk and pay with the GC? I hooked up some people with the "Use at Restaurant" barcode and earned extra points and rewards.

Can confirm this. Used both a combo of points and deals but on separate transactions. I usually preload a deal on my phone, place the order at the kiosk using the QR code, pay for food. Then place an order on the kiosk and scan my QR code and pay for food.

No gift cards in the app sort of kills the deal on the McDonald's cards, since they always have a recurring 20% off $10 order coupon. You would have to order at the speaker, then use the 20% code manually to stack it. A PITA, but possible.

Yes, I've used the kiosk with the app and paid with GC before. However, recently sometimes the kiosk at my local McDonald's is unable to scan deal code. It gives a error message and deal was then also locked out with timer.

Last time I bought a Dollar General gift card I went to 3 different stores to use it and there wasn't an employee at any of the locations. I was in line for hours.
