Please do not spend $360 on an 8GB card. 8GB is the bare minimum and you should not spend more than around $200 for an 8GB card (ideally, less).

For around $300 you can get a 16GB 7600XT and that's going to be a better buy overall for rasterization. Ray tracing is a non-factor in this price range.

Respectfuly agree.

This is 4060Ti not 4060.
The 4060Ti generally outperforms RX 7600XT in most games. (there are some exceptions but most games run with higher FPS with 4060 Ti sometimes by a large margin of up to 20% or more)
The importance of having 16GB VRAM is overrated. Only a small set of games really benefit a lot from going from 8GB to16GB VRAM at the moment. Even 4060 is usually comparable or even sometimes outperform RX 7600 XT. 4060Ti at 360 is a good deal if not great.

Anyone who says that 16GB is overrated hasn't been paying attention to this past year. 8GB is a hard limit, and, unfortunately, many reviewers don't see the limitation because they use canned game benchmarks, or they only play the game for a few minutes before games can become an absolute stuttery mess.

Linked to the relevant time: https://youtu.be/TBTJG6cU7lY?si=z..._Sge&t=694

There are numerous videos now comparing the 8GB 4060Ti to the 16GB 4060Ti, and absolutely no one should be buying the 8GB version unless it's under $200. Just watch that video to see why 8GB is broken in modern titles, and why it's only going to become more broken.

The 7700 xt pops up occasionally at this price point and is the definite pick over the 4060 ti, I would hold for that if you want a high fps 1080p card or entry level 1440p

Yep, newer games requiring 8 GB for low texture quality, 16 GB for high quality. Though low quality still looks better than you might imagine.

One example: https://youtu.be/Gs2yW3s0q3I

Also in benchmarks
https://www.videocardbenchmark.ne...TX-4060-Ti

Normally you compare RX 7600 XT against 4060 not Ti. They are not the same grade. Also it depends on the workload. I mostly play 1080p and sometimes 2K. So 16GB is overkill also if I want 16GB I'd go with 4070 Ti Super, that's a totally different price range.

Please stop. You do not know what you're talking about, and you're giving others terrible advice.

Even at 1080p, 8GB is not enough in many modern titles (and this video is a year old): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_Y3E631ro8

Please take the time to educate yourself on the subject.
