Excellent monitor. I upgraded to two of these about a month ago and have no complaints. Mainly used for gaming and office work, they are a solid upgrade in every metric from the Dell P2417's I was using.
Anyone know if this is a good option for an M4 Mac mini? I don't play games and just mainly need it for photo editing and office work.
I have the G2724D, which is the older version. It works well with an M4 Mac Mini. While it has 99% sRGB coverage, I'm not sure if I'd trust it for professional level photo editing but the colors are reasonably accurate. I'm not sure if this newer version is as good. On paper it's supposed to be better. I'm sure it will be fine for basic office work and general photo editing since I do that with my G2724D. Or, if the G2724D is the same price, maybe just get that since it's a known decent monitor.

I bought the the G2724D monitors a few months ago (very similar to this), and they are fantastic monitors. Best monitors I've ever used. Great price, too.
I have the older model G2724D and it has a blue light filter that makes the color (esp white) yellowish compared to my LG main. Does anyone know how to turn that off? I've gone through the settings and even tried some recommended color settings I found online but no luck.
The g2724d has better reviews just bought 4 of them. 1 of them has 2 dead pixels which is within guidelines of acceptable/not replaceable by most companies including dell. Another has 1 bright pixel defect which they should hopefully replace especially since it is right in the middle of the screen. So 50% defect rate but it happens a lot with a lot of monitors.
Am I being stubborn waiting for a gaming monitor with similar specs but has g sync compatibility? Will I even notice any difference compared to one with FreeSync? I have a GeForce 4070.

From what I read, it supports gsync and freesync. Actually certified.

I've owned the S2716DGF, this was great after changing some settings and the S2721DGF, which was pretty decently reviewed... this appears to be similar, not G suffix and worse reviewed. Seems like a lot of their S27 newer variants aren't as good?
