The 36W works great with the Switch! Been using two of these for months now around the house and haven't had any issues. Cheaper than a dock and power supply thats for sure!

Any reason to replace the normal dock other than its smaller form factor? With that said I have been having issues with my regular dock that cuts the signal periodically on my OLED display for some weird reason. Doesn't happen on my other television sets. I've tested different cables too.
I have an Anker version of this I think and it charges fine but my TV doesn't recognize the switch when connected with this. Is there a certain setting I need to go on for the Switch? I thought it would just be plug and play like the dock
I got the 65w version from a previous posted deal. Has been working fine, my only complain is the usb-c cable is too short. Not sure if they have changed it as some of the pictures show a different usb-c cable.
The other thing is that it falls off the outlet quite easy. For a 65W charger + Dock those aren't a deal breaker, specially back then that it was on sale for $25. Still, I haven't gotten any more of these as at least for me the ROG Ally ones have been working good too and have a better usb-c cable that is longer and better built. Grabbed 2 of those when they were on sale for $19.99.

You can use devices like phones with these. The Samsung Galaxy line works with docks like these. It's great being able to toss it in a bag to go, and be able to use the phone like a computer on a big screen while charging at the same time. Or simply just use it as a charger. It's very convenient when traveling.

If you take your switch traveling, it is a much more portable dock that you can use in your hotel or Airbnb TV. It also replaces whatever charger you use for traveling because some can do PD 65w and that replaces my MacBook charger too. One less charger and weight to carry when I fly/travel.

Not sure why you would need the extra power though
