True. But the C4 will then be cheaper with the release of the C5. There are also going to be several other OLED options in the next few months. Hisense is already selling OLED overseas. Sharp and Panasonic are moving to the U.S. market. Now that Walmart bought Vizio, they will also likely return with OLED options as they will have R&D money and massive distribution.

question... would like to order this but will be on vacation when it would arrive. Amazon doesn't seem to offer any option to significantly change the arrival date on the order screen. Should I order in 5 days and hope they are in stock or can it be ordered now and delivery date rescheduled afterwards?

Not sure what website you think you are on but this is Slickdeals. Look up past deals for this tv and the C4. $1200 is not slick.
